APAD March # 7 - Danger

The perception of danger is different for everyone. For me this is dangerous at so many levels, but it is the way of life in the villages of India. Most of the men on this vehicle are probably just hitching a ride. On a trip to the holy town of Shirdi, about a 5 hour drive from Bombay, we came across many a sites like this one. Everyday in the comfort of our car, with seat belts on and windows rolled up, we feel safe, but danger could be lurking just around the corner. Destiny and karma have a huge role to play in everyone's lives, one just had to believe it and have faith.

This picture was taken in 2008 somewhere between Bombay and Shirdi.
