APAD March # 8 - Women

Today 8th March, is International Women's Day. On this day women across the world are celebrated, respected, appreciated and loved. And often on the very next day things go back to normal in so many households where women are beaten, abused and disrespected. Even Bombay, which was once considered so safe that a lady could travel alone late at night, has now become just any other city known for its increasing spate of crimes against women.  So much has already been written about this, more so now with the increase in rape cases across our country. Here is me two bit on this topic....." A woman brought you into this world, so you have no right to disrespect one."

To all the women in my life and in the world.....wish you all a very Happy Women's Day! Let us celebrate everyday as Women's Day.
