A new morning routine - #100happydays - Day 71
For the longest time I have tried hard to fit some form of an exercise routine into my daily schedule but haven't had any luck. So when hubby got into skipping and insisted I give it a shot, I wondered what good just skipping could do. All I remember of skipping is losing tons of my hair!
But naturally I was very skeptical and resisted all forms of encouragement to start until he showed me videos and instagram posts of a few professional jump rope dudes. I could not believe the leg work and the fan following. On further research I found tons of benefits of skipping. Skipping is no new age trendy exercise. In fact, it has been there for years now. Unfortunately, as we grew up, the rope got lost somewhere in our store room.
Benefits Of Skipping Exercise
Unbelievably, 5 days of a 20 minute or so workout first thing in the morning, and I feel much more energetic than ever. Hope I can keep this up, cause I am actually enjoying the workout!
