National Book Lovers Day - #100happydays - Day 78

Happy National Book Lovers Day Folks! Honestly I did not even know that such a day existed until today, when my Instagram feed was filled with these posts. But I am so happy that "we" actually get a day of our own.

In order to truly appreciate Book Lovers Day, one must only find a story and read it. Maybe you wish to dive into the unknown with a good mystery, or see magic in a high fantasy setting, or be enthralled in a steamy romance. The individual genre of your reading is not the big piece of this, just that you do read is.

A day for all those who love to read (bibliophiles), National Book Lovers Day encourages you to find your favourite reading place, a good book (whether it be fiction or non-fiction) and read the day away.

Every bibliophile will agree with me when I say leave us alone with our books all day long, everyday......it's truly the best place to be!

Lucky me, look what the postman brought in....new journals. It's extremely hard to hold myself back when I see books in any form. So I came across these beautiful journals on the Scholar website, and with much difficulty restrained myself to only a few.

Im particularly excited about this travel journal. I have written a journal for every one of my overseas travels and when I saw this, I knew I had to buy them all. Available in 4 variants / colours, the journal is one of it's kind with blank pages to doodle in and ruled pages to write in. Included are packing lists, things to do lists and a set of stickers to decorate as you please. With 192 pages made of ivory paper, the journal has a lots to offer. All that's left now is making that trip!

This is a part of MY #100happydays challenge - a way to remind myself to pause and find happiness in the little things in life and to live in the moment. To be grateful for all that I have, every single day. Hopefully you will join me in this journey of self discovery and find your own happiness along the way.
